1. China – CERNET2 CERNET2 is IPv6 Research and Education Network in China. – Developed under CNGI, National Project. – Backbone traffic is as large as CERNET with IPv4. – Many technologies have been developed. 2

2. Japan – IPv4 Depletion Program Japan formed the project on IPv4 Depletion recently.  Many companies joined.  Government funded the project.  Organized various workshops in Japan (as well as in Asia). 3

3. Korea – IPv6 Forum IPv6 Forum organizes two workshops every year.  Government is funding the Forum.  Government also funds various projects. 4 4
