Introducing the Grove RT9150E
The Grove RT9150E Pioneering technology for rough terrain cranes: • Very first crane of its type in Australia • Full powered pin lock boom system • CraneSTAR asset Management system
60m Power Boom Overall tip height – 63.6m • 1.5 tonne capability at 56m • 4.5 tonne capability at 40m • 9.7 tonne capability at 20m
11m – 18m Fly Extension • Hydraulically luff to 40° • Overall tip height – 81.4m • 1 tonne capability at 60m
8m – 14m Fly Extension Inserts • Overall tip height – 95.3m • 1.2 tonne capability at 67m
Cab designed for operator comfort and safety • Tilting cab up to 20 degrees • “Full vision” design • Drive and operate from same cab
Easy to get around site • Mobilise with full counterweight contingent • Packed up and on the way in under 18 minutes • Four wheel drive • Manoeuvrable with crab or co-ordinated movement • This crane will go anywhere on any type of terrain !
Versatile • From unloading barges to the laydown yard • Tailing loads, dog-box work and steel erection • Heavy lifts • Complements large lift crane erection: – Tracks to boom to counterweights • Potential to replace multiple cranes due to mobility around site
Ideal for civil construction • First on last off • Thrives in poor site conditions: – 4WD ability – Carrying full counterweight contingent • 60 metre power boom enables REO and Formwork install at over 50 metres
RT9150 is more mobile than GMK5130 • GMK5130 has an axle rating of 12 tonnes – Can handle driving on sealed roads – Struggles with on-site and rough conditions • RT9150 designed for working on-site: – Mobile with maximum counterweight – Possible under hook height of 92m
RT9150 outperforms GMK5130 head-to-head 10 10 Capability (tonnes) 10 10 7.6 6.9 4.5 2.3 RT9150 1 2.8 GMK5130 2 1.0 9 18 28 40 50 Radius (metres) Notes: 1. RT9150 with full contingent counterweight, full outriggers, 60m power boom 2. GMK5130 with 28.5t of counterweight, full outriggers, 60m power boom
RT9150 is at full counterweight, ready to rumble all the time • To stay within construction site’s 75% capacity safety limit the GMK5130 may require additional wing weights and counterweights. • Fully set up with 60m power boom this would take: – 14 minutes to retract the boom to minimum radius for wing weight and counterweight installation – At least 20 minutes to install extra counterweights – Another 14 minutes to extend boom – Plus time and resource for counterweight transport to crane
