OneWeb is building the world’s first global communications network in space that will deliver low latency, high-speed services connecting everywhere, to everyone. • Launching 650 mass-produced satellites into first mass-produced Low Earth Orbit constellation at 1,200km altitude • Initiating seamless global coverage, with customer demonstrations in 2020 and launch of commercial services in 2021 • Serving fixed and mobility markets including maritime, aviation, enterprise, land mobility and government - civilian, military and humanitarian • Building sustainable practices and environmental stewardship into our business model
Building global connectivity • 48% of the world’s population is not connected to the internet * Terrestrial solutions cannot reach everybody economically • Growth rate of people connecting for the first time has slowed ** The gap in society of digital haves and have-nots is widening • Expected increase in IoT connected devices from 8 billion in 2017 to 13 billion in 2020 *** High demand for existing connectivity to be faster • 76% of enterprises looking to cloud apps/platforms to accelerate IT service delivery **** Prioritization of public cloud is happening fast * ITU’s Measuring the Information Society Report 2018 ** M-Lab partnership *** GSMA Intelligence Global IoTConnections **** IDG Cloud Computing Study
Our vision: Internet access everywhere for everyone Our mission: Make a world of difference by creating fast, easy connectivity solutions powered by our satellites • Fiber connectivity without the cost and disruption of fiber • New capabilities that will drive innovative data-led solutions • Commitment to the development of a Responsible Space agenda

2019: our achievements so far • Successfully launched our first six Low Earth Orbit satellites • Established world-class strategic partnerships as part of OneWeb’s business eco-system • Raised more than US$3 billion in investment • Set up first low-cost high-performance satellite assembly line (Florida, USA) • Launched production of User Terminals for a range of markets OneWeb’s Satellite Operations Centers are located in Virginia, USA, and in London, UK. Our Ground Network Operations Center is in London, UK. More than 350 employees are located in London, Dubai, Singapore, and Virginia, Florida, and California in the USA.
Connecting schools OneWeb’s connecting schools initiative dreams of a world where every unconnected school - and there are many! - is connected. To launch this initiative, we dedicated our first six satellites in space to six schools located in remote regions of the world that have no access to fiber connectivity. Each school has a satellite named in its honour and will enjoy access to OneWeb’s much anticipated global communications network, as well as a close learning partnership with OneWebbers who are dedicated to connecting the unconnected. : next milestones • Launch cadence of satellites (30+ per month) to begin Q4 • Completed installation of five ground stations by Q4 • Continued development of User Terminals to meet market demand • Readiness for customer demonstrations due to begin in 2020
Our market sectors OneWeb’s satellites will provide global connectivity and networking solutions that can influence and enable digital transformations that will change society, industry and global enterprise. Mobility Government • Maritime • Emergency response • Aviation • Local government • Enterprise • Civil defence • Government • Land mobility Cellular Backhaul • IoT • Macro-cell Satellite • Integrated Small Cells Satellite Broadband • Corporate Enterprise • Small & Medium Business • Consumer Residential
Maritime OneWeb is powering the digital transformation of vessels at sea. We are providing networking solutions tailored to any need, at any level, replacing one-size-fits-all connectivity with a full spectrum of tailored, customisable broadband channels. Our high throughput, low-latency global network is delivering unprecedented flexibility, lowering the barriers to high quality maritime connectivity, minimizing environmental impact, and enabling the fleets of the future.
Aviation OneWeb’s vision-led global communications network provides internet access everywhere, creating new Use Cases and opportunities for both business and commercial aviation. Business jet passengers consider high performance bandwidth, speed, and coverage area of onboard connectivity essential for inflight office and travel time. Commercial airlines want to provide ever improving service quality and incremental value to reflect loyalty. Passengers boarding commercial airlines with mobile devices switched on want a reliable, safe, fiber-like internet experience in the sky for seamless and uninterrupted access to their emails, social media networks, online games or apps.
Enterprise Enterprise information systems and business functions that once were relatively constant are becoming more agile as organisations turn to more dynamic, digitally-powered, cloud- enabled applications to accelerate their IT delivery. OneWeb’s connectivity will enable this digitalization process within the Enterprise sector, streamlining ISP solutions with low latency, secure fiber-like connectivity everywhere that offers a competitive advantage, more intelligent interactions, a more skilled and connected future workforce, and operational capability across a wider geographical region.
Government OneWeb global communications network will deliver the levels of reliable and secure throughput that government applications require. Our high-speed, low latency creates new Use Cases that will enhance decision-making and security to connect those who protect. These include breakthroughs in the commercial mobile communications sector such as increased GPS capability, improved persistent FMV (Full-Motion Video) relay for unmanned aircraft systems, and increased reliance on mobile adhoc networks. OneWeb’s global network also creates new solutions for civil government applications such as border forces, maritime security, disaster management and recovery, and government-funded non-profit social initiatives in areas such as education.
