  4. Regional Learning RLCP Choices Programs Regional Learning Choices Programs empower students by providing an opportunity to develop and explore skills in a particular area of interest. Visit www.peelschools.org/regionalprograms to learn about each program

  5. Regional Learning Choices Programs All regional programs are based on the Ontario curriculum with each program focusing on a particular lens and an area of study.

RLCP 2019-20 Common Timelines Application period: Jan. 27, 2020 (3pm) to Feb. 10, 2020 (3 pm) Participation Component (Pending Labour Dispute): February 20 th , 2020 at Chinguacousy SS First round acceptance offers issued: April 9 th , 2020 after 3 p.m First round offers accepted: by no later than 3 p.m. on April 16, 2020 Second round acceptance offers issued​: April 17, 2020 at 3 p.m. Second round offers accepted: by no later than 3 p.m. on April 24, 2020 Waitlist closed: June 26, 2020

  10. WP IBT • IBT is a unique to Peel Program started at Alan A Martin 20 years ago • Program has been at WP for 7 years • 84 in Grade 6 (3 classes) • 84 in Grade 7 (3 classes ) • 84 in Grade 8 (3 classes)

  11. Eligibility WP IBT • Only entry point is Grade 5 to Grade 6 • ESL and Special Education students may apply to the program • Must complete the application on-time and complete the practical component

Eligibility WP IBT • Currently in the Peel District School Board, Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board, French Language Board or a private school • Reside in the Region of Peel North in accordance with the map North of the 407 Winston Churchill to Hwy 10 and North of the 401 Between Hwy 10 and Hwy 50 • Students who meet the program criteria and who live outside of Peel Region will be offered spots once local student applicants have been accommodated (this has never happened at WP IBT) .
