Background • Application initiated by the Planning Approvals section • Zoning By-law 2018-050 approved by Council on September 10, 2018. • By-law currently under appeal with the Local Planning Appeal Tribunal (LPAT) 2
Purpose • Planning Approvals is initiating general amendments to the Zoning By-law 2018-050 to: – correct, – clarify, and/or – add provisions that were not reflected in the by-law approved in September 3
• Items being considered include: – clarification and interpretation of existing regulations; – general errors and corrections; – cannabis regulations; – home child care regulations; – rooftop patio regulations, etc. 4
Next Steps 1. Circulation to internal staff and other review agencies + post a consolidated list online 2. Consider any comments from the public, internal staff, and other review agencies 3. Staff to prepare a report for Council consideration at a Formal Public Meeting (late Spring 2019) 5
