This study was conducted in order to evaluate impact of BMI in interpretation of AMH and ovarian responses in infertile women.
: In a cohort study 500 infertile women aged 20-45 years old were participated. Our variables includes: BMI, serum Anti Mullerian Hormon level and ovarian response (demonstrated by oocyte number) in IVF cycles
In our study between 500 participants mean age was 32.4±5.3.BMI were between 15 till 40.6 and there was not any relation between age and BMI .Fifty percent of participants have been overweight or obese. Mean of AMH level was 3.75±4.3 and based on linear regration analysis there was not any significant relation between AMH and BMI .There is negative correlation between age and AMH .In normal BMI there is positive relation between AMH and ovarian response but in obese women there is not any relation
Obesity not only is a major general health problem but also In obese women AMH is not a good marker for prediction of ovarian reserve
