  2. 1- MÉMOIRES D’IMMIGRÉS L’héritage Maghrébin Yamina Benguigui , writer, director and French Deputy Minister of Francophone Affairs in 2012. It is a series of three 52-minutes documentaries. These testimonies tell the story of immigrants from Maghreb who came to France during the labour shortages , of their families who joined them , and of the generations who followed them. Film released in 1997

  3. The fathers The mothers

  4. The children

  5. Yamina Benguigui first wrote the book. The film is based on that book. Then, Jérôme Ruillier , illustrator of the comic strip "Les Mohammed", makes us rediscover the history of immigration with these poignant testimonies that reflect the quest for identity and the effects of racism in everyday life. This documentary is difficult to watch, we have our throats tied by emotion, we often hold back our tears. What hurts us the most, and of which we are ashamed, is the infinite recognition of these populations towards France.

  6. HUMAN FLOW Ai Weiwei , sculptor, photographer, Film- maker and “artist of the installation” This documentary film shot over a year in 23 countries , gathers the testimonies of migrants about their desperate quest for justice and security. They tell us about the overcrowded refugee camps , their high-risk sea voyages , the barbed- wire borders , their sense of distress and disillusionment , but also their courage, resilience and desire for integration. Film released on February 7, 2018 Finally, they tell us about the life they had to give up and the absolute uncertainty of a better future.

  7. Ai Weiwei takes us with him, camera in hand, to contemplate this gigantic migration in 23 countries. These men and women (65 million) who have been forced to leave their country to escape famine, climate change and war. This documentary is sometimes very difficult to watch, but Ai Weiwei always focuses on the dignity and beauty of each human being, regardless of their migratory status.

  8. LA PIROGUE Moussa Touré , Senegalese film-maker A fishing village in the large suburbs of DAKAR, from which many canoes leave. After an often deadly crossing, they will reach the Canary Islands in Spanish territory. Baye Laye is the captain of a fishing boat, he knows the sea. He doesn't want to leave, but he has no choice. He will have to bring 30 men to Spain . They do not all understand each other, some have never seen the sea and no one knows what awaits them... Film released in 2012

  9. It is a very beautiful film, shot with realism, which shows us the hardness of the journey and the determination of these people. We were very moved by this film full of humanity. Seeing the faces, the emotions of men who are not invincible, it is beautiful and very hard at the same time to feel the suffering that emerges. We would like every individual to be able to watch this film to accept that every man has the right to a better life.

  10. HOPE Boris Lojkine, French film-maker Leonard fled Cameroon, Hope fled Nigeria. Together by chance after crossing the Sahara, they both find themselves confronted with injustice, racism, and violence once they arrive in Morocco. First suspicious, they will get to know each other, then love each other, and will try to go through together the many challenges of the journey between southern Morocco and Europe. Film released in 2014

  11. As this film indicates, "Hope" is a bearer of hope, and finds its strength in breaking the silence surrounding the tragedy of African exile, while realistically retracing the dangerousness of this clandestine migration. We accompany the two actors in their crossing of the desert (hunger, fear, then we enter with them in the camps (forced labour, hunger, fear, abuse, rape...), to finally arrive in Melilla (Spanish enclave in Morocco: rape, racketeering, prostitution, absolute power of the "Chairman"...) In addition to the very beautiful images, the film is full of realism.

  12. TEHERAN TABOU Ali Soozandeh, German film-maker Tehran Taboo (Tehran Taboo), directed by an Iranian Ali Soozandeh, who has lived in Germany for more than twenty years, uses the technique of rotoscopy (actors filmed on a green background and then redesigned afterwards) to overcome the impossibility of filming such a story in real shots in today's Iran. The film deals with subjects violently repressed by religious conventions, such as sexuality, Film released in 2017 precariousness, corruption or clandestine trafficking.

  13. Three destinies (a mother who turned to prostitution, a musician, a woman who multiplies abortions) that tell of the contradictions of a society where sex, drugs and corruption are hidden under the veil of morality and religion. As fat Ayatollahs change concubines every day, men put their wives in cages before going to Striptease boxes. Drugs are traded on the street, on the hood of cars. It's an exciting testimony. But such hypocrisy on a national scale leaves us with a bitter taste.

  14. LE DERNIER CARAVANSERAIL Ariane Mnouchkine, Writer, film maker, theater director and animator of the company she founded in 1964 : "Théâtre du soleil". It's a filmed play. "The Last Caravanserai" is a two-part odyssey of stories , crumbs of destiny, parcels of life of men and women, those who are called refugees, illegal immigrants, migrants, and who, among them, are more nobly called “ travellers ”. Film released in 2006

  15. It's a magnificent, sublime show . The actors perform wonderfully well, the staging is full of findings, the scenography is impeccable But beyond all this, we can't tell you about the emotion we felt... It's a fabulous experience!

  16. Thank you for Your attention
