• In 2018, we had a First Aid case that had the potential to be a life changing event when the boiler draft went positive causing black liquor char to contact an employee that was nearby causing minor burns to face and neck. 3
• Black Liquor Fuel Delivery ports on the Recovery Boiler • Fuel is being sprayed into the firebox • Upset conditions may cause the boiler to have positive pressure creating blow back (flames & black liquor char) 4
