Holy Spirit Parish “A great parish has inclusiveness and different kinds of people, and lives out what Jesus prayed, ‘That they may be one.’ Parishioners have a sense of being together, not like being at separate Monday tables in a restaurant, or being anonymous people at a theatre, but people who smile and are No Mass together. Parish histories can never tell the greatness of the people who cared, who believed in God, who welcomed, who included people, who went out to people in need – in need of some- Parish Office closed one to talk to or in need of money or in need of food – and helped them.” Excerpt from www.pepparish.org Tuesday 9:15am Mass Heartfelt Thanks! At Holy Spirit Parish, we are blessed to have an amazing group of Wednesday dedicated volunteers who serve the parish community tirelessly. It is 7:00am Mass because of this group of people that we all get to enjoy a clean church, safe grounds and a wonderful worship experience. With Thursday most people back from holidays now, we would like to take this op- 9:15 Mass portunity to thank everyone who so generously contributed their time and talent to preparing the church/liturgy and helping us all in 7.30pm Legion of Mary our worship of God during our Advent and Christmas period. We thank our musicians, singers, cleaners, the grounds maintenance Friday group, the counters and everyone who helped set up the Church for our large Masses that 7:00am Mass touch so many lives in ways that we will never know. Thank you to all who responded to the invitation to share their gifts in the many and varied Ministries and a thank you to everyone who came along and helped to ‘pack up’ everything and put the church back to ‘normal’.
