Update on key developments • What new activities (projects, initiatives, etc) are there in your country that are relevant to the work of the CRG? – Research projects on the following subjects o Irrigation management, deficit irrigation, water balance o Plant breeding towards resistance to pest and diseases, drought, high temperatures. o Nutrients/crop fertilization, N use efficiency, N emissions, organic matter content. o Modelling o Soil erosion o Carbon sequestration: carbon sink in soil and crops. o Agricultural practices for carbon sequestration and/or emission reduction o Microbiota and GHG emissions
