HISTORY Wine Rascals is a brand within the CW Wine Group – this includes Champagne Warehouse and The Fizz Company. This means you get 20 years experience of selling still and sparkling wine across all trade channels, the logistics and capability to deliver anywhere between a small mixed case to a million bottles, to anywhere in the UK, and access to lots of vineyards around the world, with volume capability.
WHY NOT TRY… This punchy Pinot Noir Cava from the 1+1=3 brothers • A beautifully dry bubbly bursting with red fruits and cream. • An intriguing alternative to other Champagne or Prosecco, housed in an alluring bottle with designs reminiscent of Catalonia’s own Gaudi.
WHY NOT TRY… This Sulphur-free Shiraz from Pig in the House • A juicy red from a wonderful biodynamic winery in New South Wales. • Packed with blue fruit and plenty of smooth spices, the bottle design is a tribute to the winemakers father, whose eye sight has started to go. • …a tribute or a tease – we’re not too sure!
WHY NOT TRY… This super-refreshing white from the Rhône • A clean and light blend of citrus and stone fruits, followed by a beautiful wash of minerality. • The product of a unique microclimate near the ponds of Petit Camargue, where the clay and limestone-rich soil is accentuated by extra hot days and cold nights
WHY NOT TRY… This saucy sparkling Shiraz • A real showstopper to end the night. This baby could be enjoyed warm or chilled, with a steak or with your pudding. Our personal preference would be with a fat chocolate brownie. • A burst of pure raspberries, but not without its toasty, savoury notes. Sweet, but clean and not overpowering.
WHY NOT TRY… This glamorous Provence Rosé • Instagram-able and imbibe-able. The distinctive salmon pink is accentuated in specially designed, extra-clear glass bottles, worthy of a double spread in Vogue. • Not just a pretty face though. This classic blend of provence grapes demonstrates sublime balance and purity.
WHY NOT TRY… This quirky Pet Nat from Greece • An ambassador; this wine has yet to fail in proving the potential of natural wine to all of those who previously doubted it. • An exciting blend of familiar but lively citrus notes, with a snap of cool watermelon and fresh strawberries.
WHY NOT TRY… This 100% Cabernet Franc from Rattlesnake Hills, WA • A smooth and rich red from on of the most exciting new wine regions in the world. • Made by the husband and wife team Michael and Grace Savage, offers strong red berry flavor with a touch of rhubarb.
WHY NOT TRY… This world-beating Furmint from Tokaj • A beautiful swirl of apples and pears with a welcome toasty edge. Complex but incredibly elegant. • One of our most popular wineries among trade and media alike, Gizella are developing quite a reputation in the UK.
