Export grid data to Excel Only available for the PC Client Value: Manipulate, manage and analyze data with Microsoft Excel helping assist in decision making and creating efficiencies improving your business. Background: The need for extracting consolidated data available in Extend, taking advantage of Extend functionality connecting to several different data sources. Functionality: New functionality that exports data from grid to Excel file. The functionality is available as pop-up menu in grid and/or as standard shortcut keys.

Background: Functionality needed in customer project. Functionality: New functionality in Extend Quick Flow for handling field events and populate combo box data. E.g. first selecting a company and then populate a combo box with warehouses connected with the selected company.

10 Extend 17R1 - Core Start of executables from Bundles Value: Enables starting a windows executable from Bundles that can be used complementing Bundles functionality. E .g. a “.bat” file or any other external program file. Background: A need to execute external applications from Bundles. Bundles contains the configured business logic, including integration for the implemented solution. Functionality: New bundle function that can be used to call any available executable program.
11 Extend 17R1 - Core Bundles interoperability – User interaction Value: Enables user interaction from Bundle systems running business logic. User interaction initiated from Bundle systems really opens up many new possibilities, such as dynamic zero inventory in any process. Background: A need for user interaction during execution of business logic for handling exceptions and getting additional information for further execution. Functionality: New bundle functions that can interact direct with the X2 client executing the bundle, requesting input from the user as well as sending information to the client.
12 Extend 17R1 - Core Prompted zero-inventory Value: Continuous inventory that replace the need for large annual inventories and keeps high quality, accurate stock balance. Background: The new user interaction functionality provided by Extend Bundles creates an opportunity to easily add additional functionality, in this case securing accurate stock balance in any process. Functionality: The user will be prompted to do a stock count as an integrated part of already existing process such as pick or stock move and also get immediate feedback of the status on stock balance.

14 Extend 17R1 - Core Extended OPC support - Omron Value: Enables the possibility to easy connect production systems and peripherals to Extend, using a production well known standard. Use Extend as a message broker between production systems and the ERP system, exchanging data and linking the production equipment to the ERP system in real time. Background: Needed in customer project to support existing Omron PLC that uses Omron specific network protocol. Functionality: New communication module for interfacing natively with Omron OPC.
15 Extend 17R1 - Core Automatic test recorder for X2 Client Note! Executing a pre- recorded scenario requires the exact same conditions as Value: Cost effective setup of automated testing. Automated testing when the recording was performed in the reduces time to run repetitive tests, a time saving that translates context of used test directly into cost savings. data. Background: In the work to continuously improve testing it turned out that X2 client had great potential to be used creating automated test scenarios. Functionality: New Bundles functionality that allows recording X2 Client activity and then playback pre-recorded scenarios, comparing the result to the expected behavior. The recorded X2 activity is saved into a Bundle where it also can be modified if needed.
