3 ● Newkia Corp has been founded by a former senior Nokia EXECUTIVE executive. ● SUMMARY Newkia will launch a range of products linked to mobile devices and battery technology. ● The first launch is in the field of batteries for mobiles. The single most challenging issue as comes to the usability of mobile phones is battery life. Large batteries make the mobile device heavy and difficult to carry, while small batteries limit the time the phone can be used. ● Offered through Newkia Mobile Batteries (“NeMoBa”), a fully owned subsidiary of Newkia Corp set up in Singapore, Newkia has developed a battery solution that gives a lifespan of 10-15 times what current batteries can offer. ● This means that the user needs to recharge the battery at a maximum once a week even after heavy use. ● The battery is fully developed and tested and the first customer orders are being processed.
4 MOBILE DEVICE ● According to Statista, there is 2.71 billion smartphone MARKET users in the world today. This data means that in the world of wireless, 35.1% of the world’s population have a smartphone. ● 5.13 billion people, or 66.5% of the world’s population, have some kind of mobile device (cell phone, tablet or cellular enabled IoT device.) ● The annual production of mobile phones worldwide was 1.45 billion in 2018, and is expected to grow to 1.5 billion by 2020. ● Assuming an average price for a mobile phone battery of USD 25.00, that means an annual market of around 37,5 billion USD.
5 INVESTMENT PROPOSAL ● Newkia Mobile Batteries wants to raise USD 10 million to continue the development of the mobile battery and to start mass-production. ● The fund raising is done at a suggested pre-money valuation of USD 50 million. ● Newkia owns global patents on its technology. ● The valuation is less than one percent of the expected EBITDA for the years 2020-22. ● NeMoBa expects to do two more fund raising rounds over the next 18 months, at valuations significantly higher than this Series A round.
6 PRODUCT ● Development of new battery technology is one of the world’s most fiercely competed markets. ● Due to the extreme competition, this presentation will not show pictures of the finished product nor test data. ● All of this will be made available to interested investors who have signed a NDA with Newkia.
