Elm Lake Dam • Engineering report completed to look at sealing cracks and concrete spalling repair • Report is 46 pages and contains two options • Replacing multiple panels and repairs at a cost of $456,622 but with minimal life expectancy increase • Complete replacement for $1,521,403 • Elm Lake Dam is 81 years old. In order to do the partial replacement we would have to spend $456,622 attaching new concrete to 81 year old concrete • Full replacement is the safest and highest and best use of state dollars • City of Aberdeen and other funding partners will be responsible for $1.0 million of the $1.5 million cost
