What services does CCA offer? • Whole Body Cryotherapy, to assist with rapid muscle recovery, pain management, skin tightening, and weight loss • Cryolipolysis (fat freezing/reduction) to assist in achieving up to a 30% reduction in fat cells in any chosen area. • Acoustic Radio Wave Therapy to assist with cellulite reduction and tightening of the skin • Fat cavitation/Ultra sound to assist in fat reduction in specific and small areas.
Whole Body Cryotherapy (WBC) • What is WBC? • WBC involves a brief exposure to extreme cold (-110 to -140) in a temperature-controlled sauna or chamber for 2-3 minutes. CCA use Juka or Impact cryosaunas. • Your body constricts peripheral tissues sending blood from the skin surface and muscle tissue to the core to protect your core temperature (vasoconstriction). • As the blood travels to the core it passes through the cardiovascular system where it is cleansed of toxins and supplied with oxygen, nutrients, and enzymes. • As long as the exposure to the extremely cold temperature continues the body continues to flush the tissue of toxins and circulate blood between the cardiovascular system and the vital organs on a continuous loop. Cryolipolysis (Fat Freezing) How does it work? • The mechanism of action is based on the principle that adipose tissue and fat cells (adipocytes) are more vulnerable to the effects of changes in temperature and that controlled freezing of adipose tissue causes controlled cell death (adipocyte apoptosis). • One treatment lasts 60-70 minutes and you can resume your normal activities immediately. • Patients can achieve up to 30% fat reduction in their chosen area

Acoustic Radial Wave Therapy (ARWT) How does it work? • Acoustic radial waves are unfocussed low pressure acoustic waves created by electromagnetic ballistic mechanism • The body responds to the acoustic radial wave by increasing metabolic activity in the treated area. • The acoustic radial waves reduce the tissue oedema which is one of the initial phenomena of the cellulite. • Reduction of oedema reduces puffiness of the skin. • The tissue becomes more permeable so the fluids and the toxins retained within the fat cells are being released and drained by the lymphatic system. • Treatments are comfortable and relaxing, with each treatment lasting approximately 20 minutes. • The recommended protocol is twice a week for 6 weeks and one maintenance treatment each 3 months thereafter.
