Let ’s sta rt at the very beginning – this is all about creating a sales funnel – and what exactly IS a funnel? It is a way to bring leads to your door, convert those leads and make sales! It is in fact a welcome mat that invites customers and clients into your business..customers and clients that you LOOOOVE to work with. Creating leads, Converting leads and Charging what you are worth is part of the C10:10:10 system I have been using for years which has been proven to more than double your income, customers and profit in a very short period of time! If for example you get 10 leads to your business in one month, convert 50% of those leads to sales and their average purchase price is €50 – that is 5 customers x 50€ = €250 Add 10 new leads per month so that you have 20 leads per month – Add 10 to the conversion rate – 60% of 20 leads = 12 customers Add 10% to average purch ase price is €55 – 12 x €55 = €660 So how does that sound!! Step One: CLARITY A - Get Clear On Your Target Market Who are the clients you LOVE to work with? Can you describe them in glorious technicolour details? CYL – Identify the Clients you love - targeting everyone will not only waste your time and resources but will not result in you finding CYL. The first thing to do is to do a 360 degree study on them and
find out everything you can about them – once you have this – this will allow you to speak in their language, build trust and relationships – it’s all about the Know, Like and Trust element of building rapport with your prospects. You may have a few different types of CYL if you have several offerings Male or female Age Occupation Income bracket Education Stage in Family cycle Lifestyle Values/Beliefs What motivates and inspires them What do they do day to day Hopes and aspirations Hobbies Subjects interested in Passionate about What books do they read What newspapers do they read What radio stations do they listen to What TV programmes do they watch Are they social media savvy Step One: B - Get Clear On Your product/offering service ARE YOU NAILING A KEY DESIRE/PROBLEM THAT HAS YOUR CYL HANDING OVER THEIR CREDIT CARD WANTING TO WORK WITH YOU? You have to nail a profitable niche to give your CYL what they want and then deliver what they need. You need to know what your CYL want and then you can deliver what they need. Weight Loss Industry – What do they want?
Bikini Body In Six Weeks, or a slim version of them selves walking up the isle - Give them what they want and then deliver what they need. Parents – Best for their children in education, and social events Grandparents/Aunts – Memories, gifts Health The first thing is, what is THE no 1 most pressing problem your CYL is dealing with right now? There could be more than one problem. Brainstorm as many ideas as possible. Use their own language - What do they REALLY REALLY want? What’s held them back from getting the results/product they want? What event could trigger your CYL into action to finally buy from you or get the results they want? (It could be divorce, job loss, new job, wedding, holidays, business deal, visit to doctor] What is your product Description Benefits Unique selling point Main Competitors Consumer/B2B What do your customers *feel* when they find your product or service Are they ready to buy your offering straight away Do they have any hesitations about buying your product? Do they need more convincing What do you need to do or say to convince them How do they feel when they receive your product Step Two: CONFIDENCE Get confident about the value you offer your clients If YOU’RE not confident about the value you offer your clients (and it’s surprising how m any people aren’t) then your CYL isn’t going to be either. What’s your proposed solution (product, programme, offer) for their problem?
Brainstorm a list of everything that makes you NO 1 in your area - and that makes you the very best choice to solve their most pressing problem. What's the difference you're making in their lives? Experience Achievements Customer testimonials Your skills Your talents and Your superpowers Your ZONE of genius Read this lis t often to remind yourself of the value that you provide. It’ll c ome through in your messaging . And it has the added bonus of making you feel good too. Think about what your clients say BEFORE they work with you or buy from you - and what do they say AFTERWARDS? And remember you may be so good at something that you just don't value your talent because it comes so naturally. Write down 30 things that make your offering unique and irresistible Step Three – CHOICE/COMPETITORS Choose – HOBBY or PROFESSION![See mindset below] Choose Your Messaging so that you differentiate yourself against your competitors in the market. Now it’s time to combine their problem and your promised outcome to lead your CYL to the promised land of pain relief and life transformation. Brainstorm the list of benefits that your CYL would get from working with you or buying from you. What's your big promise? What outcome can they expect? What’s the extra little gift they can expect from you My big promise to you is that I have absolute confidence in your ability to turn your passions into profits – and earn the income you deserve easily and confidently. What's yours? Step four – MINDSHIFT
BELIEVE THAT YOU CAN AND DECIDE THAT YOU WILL This is MY zone of genius! Most people’s beliefs around money have been created when they were a child – I HATE sales pitches , because as a child I saw loads of sales men come visit our shop with real sleazy sales techniques and as children we were never allowed ask our customers and neighbours to *sponsor* a school fundraiser because we were told we couldn’t ask customers to *give* us more money! I have worked with clients on their money issues and once we clear the blocks and fears they have about money they can go on immediately to make the sales calls, or issue the invoices. Mindset also has a huge part to play in your confidence and self belief that your product is valid and also on your pricing structure. And mindset will also have a huge impact on your productivity and ability to achieve your goals – in less than 6 months, I wrote, designed and self published my book, co-ordinated a conference and created 2 new courses – a certificate coaching course, and A Women In Biz leadership course. I have gone from working in wedding industry at approx 70 hours per week, with huge turnover, high costs, little profit, and HUGE stress to working approx 15 hours a week, loads of free time, NO stress, much bigger profit, little costs, and I’m working globally. Step five – MASTERY Master your craft , the key area that is YOUR Zone of genius – be the best you can be in what you do – carry out exceptional execution of your work and create a simple way to leverage that to create more sales. I am weary of all the webinars/seminars and workshops which are urging entrepreneurs to be expert marketers as well – I do not think it is good advice and the amount of time you have to spend could be better spent on revenue generation or learning techniques to improve your craft. I have discovered that meeting people and having powerful conversations is a much better sales conversion for me than anything else and have transferred some of my social media presence to that. Step six – MONEY Having said that to make money and go from a professional hobbyist to CEO of an income generating business you need to have a strategy or two! Decide on how much income you need/want to earn per year. Look at how many hours per month you have available to you to work - do the maths and create you visibility strategy from there. KICIT
