  11. Charleston Transitional Facility • Project Justification – Super Medium Duty • Top priority because it will allow CTF to continue to provide transportation in the most efficient manner. The current vehicle has had numerous repairs as of December 8, 2010 the vehicle had been in the shop for a month, due to the lack of parts. No other provider has the capacity or trained staff to provide this service. If a super medium duty is not provided this will increase the number of smaller vehicles used & increase transportation cost. – Overall • Services offered by CTF depend upon transportation availability, so these vehicles need to be replaced continue providing these individuals with services. Vehicles identified for replace are old & have high mileage causing them to spend significant periods of time out of service. • Current Services & Experience – Service Area: Coles, Cumberland, & Douglas Counties – Total Clients: 151 • Elderly w/ Disabilities: 40 • Non-Elderly w/ Disabilities: 111 – Total Annual Trips: 100,240 • Medical: 1,040 • Work: 80,000 • Education: 100 • Nutrition: 100 • Shopping: 9,000 • Social/Recreation: 9,000 • Other: 1,000 HSTP Region 8
