Collaboration • National Immunization Survey Data – 80% non-WIC participants UTD – 66% WIC participants UTD • Immunization Program Manager approached the WIC Program Integrity Coordinator to share & discuss strategy • Met several times beginning November 2018 to formulate objectives and activities • Spring 2019- plan was in action! What Came of It • WIC policy change – annual training, immunization assessment • Toolkit • NV WebIZ Trainings – Over 140 WIC staff – 15 WIC locations – 13 WebIZ training sessions • More To Come: – Train the trainer – Vaccinate Your Family’s WIC specific curriculum – WIC specific webinars from Immunize Nevada – Measures – working on identifying meaningful measures of success Department of Health and Human Services 5
