Opening Remarks Overall Project Purpose and Need Improve the roadway network within a historically underserved, economically depressed area in the City of Cleveland
Opening Remarks – Project Goals • Deliver the Project at or below budget. • Deliver a positive economic impact to the community through Diversity and Inclusion efforts. • Maximize team diversity (quantity and type) for project specific goals by the inclusion of the percent and number of available firms utilized on the project. • Maximize quality, meeting or exceeding applicable standards in all areas.
Opening Remarks – Project Goals Continued • Minimize duration of traffic impacts and open Opportunity Corridor Boulevard no later than November 1, 2019. • Meet or exceed aesthetics and sustainability guidelines. • Deliver the Project with zero lost-time incidents. • Demolish existing residential and commercial structures as soon as possible.
