Oklahoma Youth Academy Charter School
Current OYACS Youth Oklahoma Youth Academy Charter School (OYACS) shows: On average, youth enter OJA care on a 5 th -grade reading level. On average, youth enter OJA care on a 4 th -grade math level. 34% on IEP GPA Range: 0.5 – 3.0 Graduation Totals: COJC – 49 Diplomas – 44 GEDs SWOJC – 42 Diplomas – 33 GEDs Source: Data from OYACS.
OJA Youth as Parents
Pregnancy Assistance Fund (PAF) Primary focus is to provide support to Oklahoma’s at -risk and juvenile justice involved pregnant and parenting youth Program provides supportive programming to improve the educational, health, and social outcomes for high risk pregnant and parenting teens who are in community or out-of-home placement. Since 2010, the PAF Program has: Invested $25 million/year in communities across the nation Funded 37 distinct grantees including 32 states and 5 tribes Served 76,000+ expectant and parenting teens and families
