Respect Model (continued) • Many people do not know how to RESPECT wildlife. • When man disrespects wildlife people are disrespected. • There is a mutual dependency between man and his environment which requires RESPECT. • Man is dependent on the environment for survival and as its steward must RESPECT it.

Respect Model (continued) • Man’s ability to RESPECT the environment is a reflection of the ability to RESPECT people and relationships. • R-E-S-P-E-C-T in terms of leadership refers to Relationships Establishing Shared Principles Empowering Conservation Truths. • The environment is dependent on man to care for it and when we don’t there are consequences such as urban wildlife conflict.
