Background of Valuation Services in Estonia • The interest started in 2012, when first clients approached Estonian Intellectual Property and Technology Transfer Centre. • There were no consultants with previous experience in IP valuation in the country. • After that the personnel has received thorough training and different training materials have been gathered. • Trainings: – EPO – Patent Valuation training in September 2012, Slovenia – IPORTA – IP Valuation workshop in February 2013, Luxembourg – EPO – Patent Valuation training in September 2013, Austria www.eitk.ee 1
