CURRENT SITUATION OF POVERTY IN BRUNEI DARUSSALAM 6551 receipient from Brunei Islamic Council (Majlis Ugama Islam Brunei) in 2018 from Zakat Funds Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sport as lead ministry to administer poverty issue via Community Development Department
CURRENT SITUATION OF POVERTY IN BRUNEI DARUSSALAM Currently, no official national Various Allowance Assistance baseline set for Poverty & set Scheme • criterias to define Poverty. Monthly Welfare Allowance • Old Age Pension • Disability Allowance Primarily, activities focus on • Allowance for Blind reducing burden of poverty and less on alleviating poverty issue.
