Scope of Projects Efficient, Effective, Responsive Two Iron-Enhanced Sand Filters Jensen Lake ( 100% of goal) • – Also provides benefits to downstream McDonough Lake Schulze Lake ( 30% of goal) • BWSR Grant $267,000 Parks CIP $66,750 Total Cost $333,750 Aluminum sulfate injection treatment • Schulze Lake ( Remaining 70% of goal) – Separate project funded through the Eagan-Inver Grove Heights Watershed Management Organization (E-IGHWMO). JPA to be presented for County Board consideration in April 2019. E-IGHWMO Grant $30,000 Parks CIP $30,000 Total Cost $60,000
Future Projects Efficient, Effective, Responsive • Work with MN DNR for fish stocking in McDonough and Schulze lakes • Evaluate needs for remaining projects • Annual lake monitoring • Effectiveness monitoring of installed projects • Perform maintenance of installed projects (as-needed)
