AUGUST 5, 2019 CITY COUNCIL MEETING
1. Call meeting to order.
2. Prayer and pledge of allegiance.
3. Consider approval of the minutes of the July 15, 2019 meeting.
4. Any citizen who desires to address the City Council on a matter not included on the agenda may do so at this time. Per the open meeting act, the City Council may not deliberate on items presented under this agenda item. All presentations are subject to a five (5) minute time limit.
5. The City Council may consider, discuss and authorize setting the date for the annual Bar-b-que cook-off 'n the City park for next year.
6. The City Council may consider, discuss and authorize action on a complaint from Eric Ornelaz concerning the Intersection located at 13th Street and Pou Avenue.
7. The City Council may consider, discuss and authorize action concerning a compliant about the police department from Mike Jass.
8. The City Council may consider, discuss and authorize progress on street sign installation.
9. The City Council may consider, discuss and authorize action to adopt a Federal Grant Program Procurement policy.
10. The City Council may consider, discuss and authorize action to authorize the solicitation of RFP's for administration and engineering contracts associated with the 2019 Downtown revitalization Program Grant.
11. The City Council may consider, discuss and authorize action to approve the 2019-2020 dispatching contract with Runnels County.
12. The City Council may consider, discuss and authorize action to approve nominations for the Board of Directors for the Runnels County Appraisal District.
13. The City Council may consider, discuss and/or take action on calling the Charter election.
14. The City Council may consider, discuss and authorize action to award bid for health, dental, vision and life insurance coverage for City employees.
15. Consider approval of building permits.
