NEXT STEPS - TIMELINE – Public comments - Phase II Alternatives Analysis finalized – Remaining alternatives reviewed under NEPA Regulations through EA process – EA process includes No-Build and Remaining Alternatives – Impacts documented and Preferred/Recommended Alternative identified in EA document – The EA document approved/signed for Public Review by FRA and MDOT – A 30-day review period – A public hearing held during the 30-day review period – Comments received and addressed – If no significant impacts are associated with the Preferred/Recommended Alternative, FRA prepares the Finding of No Significant Impacts (FONSI) document.
