What is water management efficiency for Amiad? • Saving Energy Energy, like water, is a precious resource. All our filters are designed to use minimal energy, some even operate solely through water pressure • Water Conservation Conserving water is an integral part of all our systems. Amiad’s self - cleaning filters utilize minimal amount of back flush water, ensuring clean water can be used for production. • Small Footprint Amiad filters are designed to handle big jobs in small areas, freeing up valuable space in crowded urban and limited production areas. Systems can also be installed underground. 4

• 6 Microfiber technology in industry / RO protection The AMF • Foot print: AMF is 40-60% smaller than media filters. • Backwash / flush water volume: AMF 1-2% Media – 4-7% UF/MF – 7-10% • Energy consumption: The AMF differential pressure, feed pressure and backwash energy pressure are significant lower compare to the alternatives. 7
Disc technology in Desalination The Super-Galaxy – Ashdod Desalination Plant, Israel
Disc technology in Desalination - Failure prevention: Reduction of Membrane breakage rate The Problem: Barnacles’ larvae move through the coarse discs, settle and build shells on every surface within 12 hours Larva stage 1 Larva stage 2 The Solution: Finer Pre-Filtration in order to stop the Larva from reaching the filter outlet Spin Klin spine after 400 µm disc (4month in Spin Klin spine after 100 µm disc (13months in service) service)
