Communication Plan  Question/concern about a specific class: contact teacher  Additional questions/support: grade level dean or counselor  Dean: Questions about discipline, attendance, school structure  Counselor: Questions about grades, peer relations, emotional/social well- being, course selection, scheduling a parent/teacher conference  If the information is serious in nature, one of the assistant principals or the principal would then intervene.

Transition Continues  SRMS Staff will visit your child’s elementary school class (April)  Your child will visit SRMS on March 13 th , 9:30 am – 11:30 am  “Summer Transition Program”… to be named soon! August 3 rd & 4 th  SRMS Thunder Day (Open House): August 22 nd 9:00 am – 11:00 am drop in

  19. Instrument Nights  All will be at SRMS, 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm  February 7 th Lowes Island ES  February 9 th Sugarland & Horizon ES  February 15 th Meadowland ES  Make Up Night: March 14 th , 6:00 pm All sessions are open to all parents regardless of feeder school.

  20. Parent Coffees  Parent Coffee with SRMS Principal, Katy Garvey  April 3, 7:45 am Meadowland ES  April 4, 7:45 am: Sugarland ES  April 5, 7:45 am: Lowes Island ES All sessions are open to all parents regardless of feeder school. Horizon ES may attend any session.
