Streamlining administrative tasks Fact: • We hear from many of you that filling forms, handling authorizations, billing, paperwork, and meetings take a lot of time. Why does this matter? • Streamlining these tasks could open up time for extra support for job seekers. P

Some ideas • Plan case note time into each meeting. • Complete all case notes by the end of that day. • If you can’t write the note right away, jot down the main points. • Plan office time when there aren’t many coworkers present. • Schedule annual meetings and prepare all paperwork ahead of time. • Keep to the agreed-upon time and topic when meeting with job seekers. If a new topic comes up, schedule another time to meet about it. • Schedule blocks of meetings back-to-back. • Cluster off-site meetings in a similar geographic area.

Building your goal Examples: I will schedule a max of 2 hours per day for administrative tasks. Every day I will block time for important tasks to be completed the following day. I will rank the importance of my administrative tasks for each day and tackle them in order from most to least important.
