  3. Objectives • Provide an overview of the HIOL’s process to develop recommendations. • Review and discuss HIOL’s member engagement recommendations for the ACC. 3

  4. Key Questions • How well do the recommendations build a comprehensive framework for member engagement? ➢ What recommendations are missing? • What are implementation recommendations for Phase II? 4

  5. Objectives • Provide an overview of the HIOL’s process to develop recommendations. • Review and discuss HIOL’s member engagement recommendations for the ACC. 5

Development Process • Winter 2017 : Initiated work around member engagement. ➢ Each RCCO and the Department shared their respective approaches. • Summer 2017 : Identified as a key topic area in the HSAG report. ➢ HIOL reviewed and compared HSAG, RCCO, and Department findings to develop seven recommendations. 6

  7. Development Process • October 2017 : Presented recommendations to the Department’s Member Experience Advisory Council. ➢ HIOL incorporated findings from the member council into the recommendations. • November 2017 : Officially approved recommendations. 7

  8. Objectives • Provide an overview of the HIOL’s process to develop recommendations. • Review and discuss HIOL’s member engagement recommendations for the ACC. 8
