  3.  Primary role to support children within the phases – Yrs 1 to 2, Yrs 3 to 4 and Yrs 5 to 6.  Focus and role evolve through the year in discussions with class teacher.  This can involve:  Small group focus  Child conferencing  Team teaching  Being a third teacher

  4.  PPA cover (planning, preparation and assessment time given to each teacher once a week)  Mainly in the afternoon

  5.  We run assemblies each week  These often cover the themes and golden rules of the week, e.g. diversity, crime and punishment  Rewards and reinforcements of positive behaviours and rules  Separate assembly for Yrs 3 and 4 on a Monday  Plus the day-to- day you can’t anticipate…
