23/11/2012 There are NO UNCONDITIONED Athletes on the Podium • National Squad Training is NOT a social event • When representing England/GB at international competition, although this is to provide experience and development, WE GO THERE TO WIN • Squad sessions will maximise training time • Training will be of a high intensity • Coaching will be of a high quality • There will be a FALL OUT – the programme should not carry players who are not of the level or don’t aspire to be of the level. • Talent alone will not make a champion, players who work hard and have commitment will highlight their train ability and its these players that will move through the system 12
