Project Scope  Complete CEI services including Contract Administration and Materials Testing for:  Widening, Reconstruction , Drainage, Milling & Resurfacing of Pembroke Road from Dykes Road to Silver Shores Blvd  New Dedicated 4 ft. Bike Lane on each Side with 2 ft. Buffer from Travel Lanes  Four - 11 ft. Travel Lanes and new 17.5 ft. Median  Landscape with Irrigation System  10 ft. Precast Concrete Wall in various Locations on Both Sides 5

Challenges and Key Milestones  Length Reconstruction = 2539 LF  Length M&R = 3450 LF  Contract Time = 480 Da  Contractor responsible for preparing and permitting MOT Plans  Construction of 10 ft. Precast Wall will be need coordination w/FPL, to be constructed in Ph I & Ph III  Coordination with Broward County Transit on Bus Stops- Arethia Douglas  Access to Silver Shores Elementary and Park must be Maintained  Landscape and Irrigation System to be constructed in Ph IV  New Roadway Lighting and Two Signalized Intersections 7

Challenges and Key Milestones  Drainage construction will be the Controlling Item of Work  Drainage Structures in Close Proximity to WM’s & FM  Coordination w/ SBDD – Outfall to Silver Shores Lakes  Subsoil Excavation = 28,372 CY (Pay Item 120-4)  Embankment = 34, 271 CY (Pay Item 120-6)  Daily Survey Control will be Critical to Ensure Proper Quantity Tracking and Payments to Contractor 8
